Desert Elixirs Policies
We want your experience at Desert Elixirs to feel easy, transparent, and cared for from start to finish. The policies below are here to protect both of us and to make sure every visit goes smoothly. If you ever have questions about any of them, just reach out — we're always happy to talk it through.
Appointment Policy
We want to make sure you get the date and time that works best for you. Here's what to know before you book:
- We recommend booking a few weeks in advance, especially during peak Big Bend season. Our website always shows the most up-to-date availability.
- A credit card is required to reserve your appointment.
- All new guests are required to complete a Good Faith Exam with our Nurse Practitioner before their first IV session. The exam costs $40 and takes place at the time of your appointment.
- Returning guests are required to complete a new Good Faith Exam once per year.
Have questions about what to expect? Give us a call — we're happy to walk you through it.
Consultation Policy
We offer free consultations to help you understand your options and find the right blend for what your body needs. Our goal is for you to feel informed and confident before anything goes into that chair.
- Consultations are complimentary and include a conversation about your wellness goals, your current health, and the IV options available to you.
- There is a limit of two (2) free consultations per person per 365 days.
No pressure, no rush. We take our time with you.
Cancellation Policy
We know life out here moves at its own pace, and plans change. We just ask for a little notice so we can take care of the next person on our schedule.
- Individual appointments: Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, will be charged $100 to the card on file.
- Group appointments: We require 72 hours' notice for group cancellations. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will be charged $200 to the card on file.
- Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to avoid disrupting other guests. We'll always do our best to accommodate you — just give us a heads-up if you're running behind.
Pricing and Prepayment Policy
Pricing for services is subject to change at any time. Current pricing is always displayed on our website and in our clinic.
- Once prepaid, you have up to one (1) year to redeem your purchased service.
- If there are any payment issues with a credit or debit card — chargebacks, fraud, etc. — we reserve the right to require cash payment for future services.
Returns and Refund Policy
We want you to feel good about every visit. Here's our policy on returns and refunds:
- Skincare products may be returned in original, unopened packaging within 30 days of purchase. We do not accept returns on opened or used products.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
- Prepayments are refundable within 10 days of purchase.
- Services that have already been received cannot be refunded.
If something isn't right, reach out to us at hello@desertelixirs.net. We'll always do our best to make it right.
Child Policy
To ensure the safety of children and a calm, comfortable experience for all our guests, we ask that parents and guardians make other arrangements for young children during their appointment.
Pet Policy
We love animals — this is West Texas, after all. But for the health and safety of all our guests, we maintain a no-pets policy inside the clinic.
Only trained, working service animals are permitted inside Desert Elixirs.
